A special presentation was held at Blizzcon, World of Warcraft Director Duncan Jones said the movie will be filled with special effects that he described in terms of "Avatar in addition to Lord of the Rings at the same at the same time."

World of Warcraft will release in theaters in 3D on the 11th of March 2016.
