Gamers who like to play on a PC and still use their mobile devices when away from home couldn't have been more excited to hear the news that D2R Ladder would be not just playable on both platforms, but save their progression, which allows them to use both device for identical characters.

The disappointment of players is not surprising when they put in the time building up a character for D2R Ladder. only to find the character isn't showing up, it's just a blank option to start over. This is a frequent issue however, much to the relief for anyone feeling victimized, it's easy to fix.

The overwhelming number of gamers suffering from this issue are able to fix it in a few clicks on the login screen. The game will suggest an online server, but that server isn't necessarily the one with the player's characters on it.

To locate the server for the current character, click on the name of the server underneath the title logo, and then select the appropriate location and server. When switching to this server, the majority of players will see their current characters in the same position on the following screen.

For others, the fix could be a bit more complex. If the two devices are connected to the same server, but do not share the same user problem is with login. Players must be logged in on the same account to allow the two devices to utilize cross-progression. If not, the game treats them as two different players with unique characters that are on the same server.
