I really don't think EA has some moral imperative to do anything at all in this circumstance, at least not publicly. If they have any employees affected by the protests or riots or police/military activities they have a moral imperative to do what they can to adapt them, that is about it. They are not the reason for the issue, it could be easy and appropriate to allow them to stay quiet or skirt about this political dilemma, but they did not.
They had three options: say nothing, say something, or say something and make a dramatic gesture. Anything above the bare minimum is worth admitting in my eyes. You can do anything with it, Slayer, Bossing, PvPing etc and it always works excellent. However, when it comes to PKing ranged is far better. Like I mentioned longrange fashions have a clear advantage since most PvP action nowadays is completed in multi PvP regions and as we all know ranged beats magic which makes it the best of both. It's that simple. Magic is the ideal combat style and also my favourite, but ranged is not too much behind - actually I'm not entirely sure I don't like ranged as much as magic nowadays.
